Ghosts in the fire

The album produced by Mark Black features 10 new tracks written by Mark and includes a cover of the Jimi Hendrix Experience ‘Purple Haze’. This album is a return to rock influences with pumping guitars, driving bass and drums, tight vocal harmonies and dynamic song arrangements. The album features ‘The Trips’ with Seamus Devenny on drums and Brendan McGlynn on bass.

With extensive touring live highlights are many including performing at Glastonbury in 2009, guesting and performing with Moya Brennan (Clannad) and Liam Maonla (Hot House Flowers) and Ciaran Gribben (INXS) at the Spirit Voices Show (Special Commission to Earagail Arts Festival 2010), a string of headline slots at Blues and Arts festivals throughout Ireland and Europe and In 2009 he was joined onstage by guitarist Henry McCullough (Joe Cocker Grease Band, Wings, Jesus Christ Superstar) for an unforgettable performance of Leadbelly’s Western Plain.

Support credits over the past few years for Alabama 3, Paddy Casey, Mundy, Hot House Flowers, Fionn Regan, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford from Squeeze.
